I am Dr. Yolanda G. Smith, a visionary nurse executive, transformational leader, and fierce advocate for well-being. With a distinguished background in nursing leadership, clinical operations, and workforce resilience, I founded Leader Well-Being Collaborative LLC to redefine how nurses lead, thrive, and drive meaningful change while delivering safe, quality nursing care.

About Dr. Yolanda G. Smith, DNP, MSN, RN

Dr. Yolanda G. Smith is a transformational visionary executive nurse leader with distinguished experience transforming clinical operations, process redesign, achieving organizational strategic goals, and optimizing care delivery models.

Dr. Smith’s expertise spans acute care, community care, academia, insurance, and the legal sectors. She is a proven leader in strategic planning, performance improvement, and implementing evidence-based methodologies that elevate patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Beyond her executive leadership, Dr. Smith is a Certified Positive Psychology Well-Being Coach, committed to fostering resilience and mitigating burnout among nurses. She is also a highly sought-after Legal Nurse Consultant and Expert Testifying Witness, having conducted over 200 medical record reviews for attorneys specializing in medical malpractice and personal injury cases.

Educational Foundation

Dr. Smith earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Healthcare Systems Leadership from Chamberlain University. She also holds a Master of Science in Medical-Surgical Nursing: Clinical Nurse Specialist from Hunter-Bellevue College, specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery Intensive Care.
